Photoconductivity of thin semiconductor films

The fundamental characteristic of a photovoltaic device is its current–voltage curve. I built a measurement bench able to record device response in the dark, under modulated light and as a function of temperature using a Peltier plate. The instrumentation was interfaced to a computer through RS232 or USB.

Recovering a legacy USB instrument on ARM64

The USB driver of a ten-year-old oscilloscope did not work on the ARM64 architecture, so it could not be remotely controlled. The solution was to create a new driver based on WinUSB.dll, giving access to the instrument functions.

Impact: legacy instrument recovered on modern ARM64 computers.
